Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Houston TX
Part time or Full time
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in injections to join our medical practices in Houston, TX. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections, digit blocks and IV infusions, so the incoming candidate must have experience doing those types of procedures. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is seeking either a part time (2-3 days per week) or full-time position.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation along with the multidisciplinary team
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Administer PRP, stem cell, and other joint injection therapies
- Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate with follow-up protocols
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
- PA/NP license in TX
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferred
- Experience with injections, joint, tip, digit blocks and IV infusions (or willingness to be trained)
Schedule:
- Full time (Mon-Fri with office hours ending at 12 on Friday) or Part time 2-3 days a week.
Compensation:
- $60-$75/hr depending on experience
