A Cancer Center attached to the hospital is seeking a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Visit the Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the world, or explore the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and learn about the civil rights leader's legacy.
This inpatient position involves 12-hour shifts and requires managing high-acuity patients with a caseload of 8-12. Essential skills include inpatient medicine expertise, strong communication, organization, and time management. Experience in Hematology/Oncology is preferred. Candidates must hold an acute care credential and BLS/ACLS certifications; a DEA license is not required. The facility uses Epic for EMR, and support staff includes a discharge coordinator and PharmD to assist with services.
