Job Description
A reputable physician-founded and led medical group has a Nocturnist Physician Assistant job near Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Job Details:
- Five nights on/5 nights off schedule
- Hours: 7 pm to 7 am
- 18-bed observation unit
- No call environment
- Responsible for admissions from the Emergency Department to the Observation unit, 4-hour touch bases with nursing and case management, and discharges.
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Codes: Run by the Critical Care team but attend if it is in the Observation Unit
- Full Subspecialty support
- 2 Nocturnists on staff at night for the PA to confer with
Requirements:
- Experience as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant
- NCCPA Certified
