A Geriatrics facility is seeking a Geriatric Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Salem, Virginia, tube down the Roanoke River, explore downtown Roanoke, or visit Parkway Brewing Company!
The full-time position in Salem, VA, requires a VA license and has a two-week credentialing process. Providers work Monday-Friday, on-site for six hours daily, with the option to chart two hours from home. No call or weekends. The role involves 20-22 geriatric patients per day, including long-term and skilled nursing care. Support staff includes a Director of Nursing, admin staff, LPNs, and CNAs, with an MD on-site one day per week. The facility uses PointClickCare and Gerimed EMRs.
