Seeking a BC/BE Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in beautiful Coeur dand#8217;Alene, Idaho to join our rapidly expanding Womenand#8217;s and Childrenand#8217;s service line at our regional referral center hospital. Ideal candidates will have past critical care experience and preferred 3-5 years of NNP experience in Level III or IV NICUs with a strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork and patient satisfaction. Full-time M-F, day shift Level III NICU with a large newborn nursery Four neonatologists provide in-house coverage 24/7/365 Three pediatric hospitalists cover the nursery The team also includes veteran NICU and post-partum nurses, designated RTs, nutritionists, pharmacists, and developmental therapists NNP candidates should be strong in NRP and intubation skills as they will attend all high risk deliveries with our specialized neonatal response (NEST) team NNPs will admit and manage NICU patients in conjunction with the Neonatologist, participate in daily rounds in the NICU and with the OB team, participate in family centered care, and perform procedures expected in the NICU Opportunities exist for assisting in program development, education, outreach, and on-going service line growth EPIC medical records Compensation andamp; Benefits Competitive compensation package with salary plus potential incentives for productivity and quality, and excess call support Robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, CME, sizable employer retirement contribution, and malpractice (with tail) 100% employer-paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees.
