Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Louisville, Kentucky

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our neonatal care team. This position involves providing healthcare to neonatal patients in both the office and hospital settings. The APP will focus on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care, working both independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
--Provide healthcare services to neonatal patients with a focus on disease prevention, health promotion, and maintenance.
--Work independently and collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care.
--Act as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
--Primary care delivery will be provided in a hospital inpatient setting.
--Attend high-risk deliveries, perform resuscitation, and carry out core advanced neonatal procedures.
--Participate in a Transition to Practice Program designed for both experienced and new graduate APPs.
--Receive an individualized orientation tailored to the specific needs of all new hires.

Qualifications:
--Successful completion of a Neonatal PA residency program.
--Current BLS and NRP certification.
--Must hold one of the following credentials:
--Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN),
--Physician Assistant (PA), or
--Physician Assistant Certification (PAC).

Desired:
--Two years of clinical experience in a relevant field.
