Job Description

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Northern North Carolina

Our client is actively searching for Neonatal Nurse Practitioners or will consider PNP-AC (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care)/ PA-C with previous experience in newborn nursery and high risk neonatal delivery to assist them with filling some coverage gaps on their schedule. The facility is located near the Virginia border with easy access off of I-95. There are several outdoor recreation areas to explore including two lakes to enjoy! Subspecialty support is available onsite for consults as well as necessary support staff to ensure patient care is at the highest levels.

Details/Requirements:
--Dates available in March, April, May and June.
--Round on current patients, remainder of shift is on call from home.
--NRP and BLS required
--3-5 newborns per day
--Procedures include intubations, UVC placement, surfactant delivery and arterial punctures
--Inpatient only coverage
