Due to incredible growth, (Login for Information) currently has a nocturnist hospitalist and PRN opportunities at UCLA West Valley Medical Center in the heart of Los Angels County. With this schedule, you have time to take in the sprawling mountain scenery, hike and bike the trails, head to the beach, enjoy shopping, restaurants or any of the amenities of living in the area.

UCLA West Valley Medical Center is a full-service acute care facility located in West Hills, California, in the Western San Fernando Valley. The 260-bed facility is home to an expansive 20-bed emergency department (ED), intensive care unit, outpatient services unit, cardiac catheterization laboratory, and service for the region's burn patients and others who are critically injured, and many of its services are ranked on a national scale.

Opportunity Overview: 

• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
• Established and growing program
• Care for low, mid and high acuity patients
• Open ICU (25 beds), hospitalists handle the admissions for ICU, co-management of ICU patients with intensivists on staff
• No procedures
• Average encounters 15-20
• EMR is moving to Epic
• Support of knowledgeable medical director who cares about you and your professional growth
• Collegial practice environment

Competitive compensation with estimated base pay range minimum of $135/hour to maximum of $173/hour. Full-time are eligible to receive additional performance pay. For this role, we ask that you are board certified or board eligible internal medicine (IM) with California license or ability to obtain.
