Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Pediatric NP/AP for a locum position in Modesto, California.
Details/Requirements:
--Three-month commitment
--Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
--No call required
--California license required
Job Description:
--Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients up to the age of 18 (and young adults with special healthcare needs) who have common illnesses, injuries, or disorders. This includes the care of the normal newborn as well as the uncomplicated premature infant born age adjusted to 32 weeks of gestation. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with policy.
--Ability to work independently and collaboratively
--Experience with patient care in a clinic setting
--Flexible to work evening hours when required
--Strong communication and patient interaction skills
