Hybrid PMHNP Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
*PMHNP needed to start ASAP and ongoing for 40 hours a week
*Must have significant substance use treatment experience and be comfortable in a consultation and treatment role within residential substance use treatment facilities.
*Will also assist with Quality Management oversite of some of their specialized substance use (opioid) treatment programs.
*Facility has a psychiatrist who will be providing collaborative services for the NP.
*100% adult patients for clinical work and it’s a hybrid role of onsite and telehealth.
*Typically allows 60 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups.
*Hours: 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
*No call.
*Will travel to multiple sites, but it will be limited to a smaller number.
*All the expected worksite locations are within 25-30 miles of the home base location.
*PMHNP’s time will be split equally into thirds doing clinical work, consultations, and providing Quality Management(QM) oversight.
*Credentialing can be done quickly within 1-2 weeks.
*Facility has an electronic medical record system, so you must be computer savvy.
*Prefer 6-month minimum assignments.
