Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine has unique opportunities for new graduate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to provide care on our Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services. As the PMHNP will split their time between each service, they should have prior experience in both areas.
Choose from these on-site opportunities:
- Saturday-Sunday, 7a-3p or 8a-4p (0.4 FTE)
- Sunday-Thursday, 12a-8a (1.0 FTE)
- Friday-Saturday, 4p-8a (0.8 FTE)
Details:
- Candidates must have solid clinical, teaching, and leadership skills and be able to function as a resource and preceptor for fellow staff
- Collaborate with the Medical Directors of the Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services as well as other psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and techs
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, initiate treatment interventions, provide follow-up evaluations as indicated, and lead interdisciplinary team meetings
