Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Locums Job | Metro New York City
Start Date: Targeting April 1, 2025
Flexible Schedule Tailored to Your Availability:
--Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–4PM, Hybrid/Tele - flexible schedule
--Open to working two 9-hour days a week for the entire 3 month contract
--Mix of onsite and telehealth options available.
--Impactful Work with a Focused Patient Population: Serve adults aged 18+ with serious mental illnesses in a Personalized Recovery -Oriented Services (PROS) program.
--Empower patients to overcome mental health barriers and achieve personal goals through a rehabilitative approach.
Patient Interaction:
--7–10 patients/day during a typical 7-hour shift.
--Flexible appointment times tailored to patient needs (15+ minutes per session).
Core Responsibilities:
--Initial Weeks: Perform updated psychiatric evaluations for PROS clinic patients (goal: ~60 evaluations).
--Ongoing: Transition to medication/symptom management and evaluations for new patients.
Tech + Credentialing Details:
--EMR System: FH Awards Technology.
--Credentialing: Fast 2–5-day process, enabling e-scribing capabilities.
--Medicaid Certification: required.
