A State Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Southwest Virginia.
The Psychiatrist will manage approximately 17 patients, including 2-5 on acute medical management (AMM) daily, as part of a team with three attending psychiatrists and a nurse practitioner. The average length of stay for geriatric patients last month was 48 days. The role includes collaboration with a highly skilled nursing staff.
