Psychiatrist NP/PA Locums Job in Tennessee | January through February 2025

Coverage Needed:  
- Need one Psychiatrist NP/PA locum for coverage 
- Monday through Thursday 6am-12pm at one center, Friday 6am-12pm at the other. 
- Coverage starting Monday, January 6, 2025 through Friday, February 28, 2025. 

Assignment #106229 Details/Requirements:  
- Training: Shadow our current NP for, at least, 24-30 hours in the week or so leading up to the date of 01.06.2025. Expected to extend their service independently (with the support of the Medical and Clinic Director).  
- Complete intake histories and physicals and annual physicals. Provide support and training to other clinical staff. Attend case conferences. Consult with clinic staff and patients regarding treatment. Complete all documentation in a timely manner as required by a Clinic's rules and regulations, or other policies and procedures. Perform such other duties as assigned 
- No call 
- Outpatient facility 
- Suboxone certification: For the old X-Waiver, it is no longer a requirement 
- Drugs administered onsite: Methadone, Suboxone & Subutex 
- Patient Load: ~7/day 
- New or existing patients: Combination of both 
- Age of patients: 18+ 
- Certifications Required: BLS 
- Additional support staff: Medical Director, Clinic Director, Dispensing Nurses, Counselors 
- Provider working solo most days with collaboration and support of Medical Director 
- EMR System: SMART by Analytics 
- Local candidates preferred.
