Holiday CT Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in North Florida | November 25-26, December 16-27
Jackson and Coker's valued client in Florida needs a locum tenens CT Surgery APP (EVH Required) starting this November. The facility is seeking coverage on Thanksgiving + Christmas week and anticipates having open dates in 2025 that you will have the opportunity to pick up as they are needed. Look forward to premium holiday pay on Thanksgiving & Christmas day.
Dates of coverage needed:
--November 25 + 26 (will work in the OR from 7A - 2 or 3P + be on call coverage through November 27 at 7AM)
--December 16 at 7AM - December 27 at 7AM (shifts will vary between covering in the OR & being on call, covering in the OR only with no night call & covering call coverage only throughout this stretch)
Details/Requirements for Assignment #105278:
-- Active + unrestricted Florida medical license + DEA is required
-- Needing candidates with a clean background for temporary privileging / quick processing
-- Active Board Certification required
-- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of working in the CT Surgery setting / doing CT Surgery OR
-- Will work Monday - Friday from 7A - TBD (usually 3 or 4P) in the OR and/or in
-- Monday, Wednesday - Friday are typically scheduled OR days, Tuesday is typically a clinic day
-- Will cover CT Surgery service line call coverage (NO CVICU) every other night & weekend
-- Will work alongside of 1 CT Surgeon in both OR & clinic setting
-- Case volume: will do approximately 1-2 cases per day while in OR
-- ALL skills associated with CT Surgery APP is required including Vein Harvesting, + Chest Tube Placements
-- Will ONLY cover CT Surgery call coverage (will not cover CVICU) and see minimal (if any) cases while on night/weekend call coverage (super rare)
-- Will not be required to do any rounding
-- Will have residents working alongside & ready to assist with cases as needed
-- Patient population is 100% Adult + Geriatric
-- Facility details: Epic EMR, 400+ bed facility, designated level 1 trauma center
