Cardio Thoracic Surgery PA or NP Locums Job in Louisiana Starting Immediately | EVH Required
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a facility in northern Louisiana that needs CT PA or NP coverage starting IMMEDIATELY. Due to losing a provider, the facility will need a minimum of 60 days of coverage while they recruit for a permanent replacement. This opportunity requires endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and is seeking candidates that can cover 2-4 weeks per month.
Coverage need:
* Seeking a minimum of 2 weeks per month + up to full-time coverage starting IMMEDIATELY
* Will work Monday - Friday from 5:30AM (when there are cases) and starting at 6:30AM on days that aren't in the OR - day tends to end around 2-3PM
* Will work in the OR and/or in clinic or inpatient setting throughout the week
* Will be required to cover night/weekend call coverage (will be on call every other evening & weekend)
* Willing to work with two part-time providers to fill schedule if necessary
Details/Requirements for Assignment #104690:
-- Active + unrestricted Louisiana medical license + DEA is required (willing to consider candidates who can get quickly licensed via the NLC)
-- Active Board Certification required
-- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of working in the CT Surgery setting / doing CT Surgery OR
-- Will work alongside of 1-2 CT Surgeon in both OR & clinic setting
-- Case volume: will do approximately 1-2 cases per day while in OR
-- Will see an average of 10 patients per day (total for all clinic, inpatient setting)
-- ALL skills associated with CT Surgery APP is required including Vein Harvesting, + Chest Tube Placements
-- Patient population is 100% Adult + Geriatric
-- Facility details: 170+ beds, designated level 1 trauma center, Epic EMR
