Empower your patients to improve their health and wellbeing! This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work in the changing landscape of weight loss medicine. You will work closely with patients who cannot lose weight by traditional means or who suffer from obesity related health problems. Our surgical weight loss team uses a variety of procedures used to treat severe obesity through gastric bypass, stomach surgery or other procedures. There is also an opportunity to work in the advancing field of weight loss medication injectables.
Our practice offers a collegial atmosphere, modern clinic facilities and advancing technology in the obesity medicine field. You’ll work closely with our team of experienced surgeons, registered dietitians, specialized nurses, physical therapists, and psychologists to empower patients toward optimal health and wellbeing.
Applicants must have an advanced practice professional degree from an approved college of nursing or physician assistant studies and have a Maine license or be immediately eligible. We offer a robust compensation and benefits package, student loan reimbursement and generous PTO benefits.
