Surgery Advanced Practice Provider Locums Job in New Jersey | Seeking Weekend NIGHT Coverage | ASAP Start for 10-12 Months
Coverage Needs:
-- Coverage: ASAP start for 10-12 months of coverage, *will consider emergency/temporary privileges
-- Schedule: Weekend NIGHT coverage, 7:00pm-8:00am, NO Call
Assignment 104101 Details/Requirements:
-- Amenities: NO call/sleep room, provider expected to be working the entire time
-- Team Structure: 2 APPs at NIGHT, no surgical first assist in the OR
-- Volume: ~40 patients per shift between 2 APPs
-- Procedures: VAC dressings, JP drain management, chest tube placement (preferred)
-- Manages the overnight inpatient needs of surgical patients in conjunction with, and under the supervision of an attending physician
-- Responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations which includes the overall management of the surgical patient, performing consultations, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic testing, development of appropriate plans of care, therapeutic interventions, and as needed, intra operative assistance
-- Service line coverage would include: General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic/ENT Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery
-- EMR: EPIC (+ EPIC Chat)
-- Board Certified required, Fellowship not required
-- Facility Details: 350+ bed facility, Level 1 trauma center
