Orthopedic Sports Medicine NP or PA Locums Job Starting ASAP | Seeking 1-2 Providers to Fill Full-time Clinic & Call Schedule in Georgia
Jackson and Coker's valued client in Atlanta has a need for 1-2 Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners that are specialized and experienced in Orthopedic Sports Medicine to help fill a full time scheduling need starting as soon as possible. This need is located in north Atlanta, situated near Lake Lanier, affording the opportunity to work alongside of some of Atlanta's most recognized Orthopedic Surgeons while avoiding the heavy traffic of downtown.
Specific schedule / details on coverage need:
- Seeking full-time clinic + call coverage starting ASAP and ongoing
- May have scheduled procedures in place of clinic coverage intermittently
- Will work between 2 clinics + cover 1 hospital during the evenings and over the weekends
- Clinic hours: 8A - 5P (1 hour lunch break) - can anticipate working a 40/hour week
- Will need night + weekend call coverage (rotation TBD)
Details for Assignment #108330:
- Active + unrestricted GA license required
- Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Must be experienced & comfortable with Orthopedic Surgery, Orthopedic Sports Medicine + working as 1st assist in the OR
- Will work alongside a physician while in clinic, will not have an independent schedule
- Will be working as an extension of the Surgeon, must be comfortable with seeing new consults, assisting with care treatment plans, assisting in the OR, etc.
- Strongly prefer a local north Atlanta candidate
- Facility detail: 250+ bed facility, not a designated trauma center, Cerner EMR
