An urgent care is seeking an urgent care physician assistant for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Outer Banks, North Carolina.
This established team consists of experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, supported by five providers and 14 nurses. The facility focuses on outpatient care, including COVID testing, and requires providers to have BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA. Additionally, certification from AANP, AANC, or NCCPA is necessary. Providers must be skilled in a variety of procedures, including suturing, splinting, burn care, incision and drainage (I&D), foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repairs. The facility is equipped with X-ray, iStat, and CBC, and has seven exam rooms, all managed using the EPIC EMR system.
