Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in Georgia
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (No Call Responsibilities)
Key Details/Responsibilities:
--Provide wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
--Manage a variety of wound types, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, and vascular insufficiencies.
--Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as wound assessments, debridement, and dressing changes.
--Focus on health promotion while managing acute and chronic disease conditions.
--Collaborate with a team of two physicians to support comprehensive patient care.
--Collect and document patient data, order labs, and coordinate consultations as needed.
Qualifications:
--NP Candidates: Must be licensed as a Nurse in Georgia with approval to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and hold national certification.
--PA Candidates: Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Georgia with national certification.
--At least 3 years of experience as a PA or NP in a wound care setting
--Collaborative Environment: Work closely with skilled physicians in a team-based setting.
--Quality Care: Serve patients in a reputable healthcare facility focused on high standards of care.
--Technology: Access to EPIC for seamless electronic health record (EHR) management.
